How many miles were on the filter you removed?

ECSTuningMedia says:

Yes, both cars use the same filter.

I changed my filter just minutes ago I tought the lines were just attached by pressure but they have CLIPS! that you need to push to release the filter, I almost destroyed the connectors until I noticed this -_-

I cleared the code and it didn’t come back on again, thanks for the reply.

ECSTuningMedia says:

I would say that would make sense since you are draining the lines and the fuel filter is empty or there could be air in the system.

Clear the code and see if it comes back.

simple and easy to understand video great job ECS. I want to ask you a question. I did this on 05 Audi A4 2.0T and check engine light came on code 2298 which says fuel pressure regulator. I’m guessing because it took a few tries to start that’s why the light came on or do you think the fuel pressure regulator is damaged/missing?

ECSTuningMedia says:

It’s similar, but not identical. You could use it as a reference but I would do more research on B7 fuel filter replacement.

Thank you for the video, thumbs up.
