►Audi heater core hoses are notorious for degrading over time and springing leaks. On the EA888 engine found in the MLB platform cars and SUVs such as the Audi A4, A5, S5, allroad, and the Q5 featured in this video, it isn’t uncommon to find these heater core hoses leaking at the connections with visible dried coolant around the outside.
The heater core hoses play a critical role, connecting the coolant flange with the heater core pipe, and if left ignored, can easily cause your car to overheat.
While heater core hose replacement may sound like a job with many steps, don’t let that fool you. This is a job that can be completed in the driveway in quick fashion. where can i buy these parts for Q5 2013 CNCD? :8R0 819 334 AC and 8R0 819 332 G
So my heater core hose snapped off where the hose turns into the plastic fitting by the block. So the end of the hose was still attached to the block when it snapped. I replaced the hose but now coolant leaks right where the hose connects to the block, the rear coolant flange is still intact so I’m not sure why it’s leaking right there. This is on a b8 a5
