Audi Q5 Front Brake Rotor And Brake Pad Replacement DIY (Audi MLB Q5/SQ5 2013-2017)

►Audi Q5 front brake replacement is one of those jobs that you will just have to do at some point during your ownership. The Audi Q5 on the MLB platform between 2013 and 2017 has a multitude of brake options depending on trim package and engine choice, but no matter the exact options, the process is nearly the same.

When shopping for new brakes for your Audi Q5, be sure to go to fcpeuro.com and enter your vehicle in the “My Garage” vehicle selection tool on the upper lefthand side of the screen. There, you can add your particular model to ensure that you get the front brake pads and rotors you need specifically for your Q5.

In this DIY, Aaron Davis, FCP Euro’s Audi Catalog Manager, walks us through the step-by-step DIY on how to replace the front brakes on your Audi Q5 at home in your garage or even in your driveway.

Do you have any tutorials for replacing the rear discs and pads on 2015 Q5? Thanks

playid69 says:

I'm about to replace all for my 2015 Q5 discs and set of pads this weekend. This tutorial came out at just the right time. Very clear and excellent video, great job.

Pretty awesome. Seems simple enough, "IF" steps are followed as shown. Thank You FCP Euro. In the future I'll look into upgrading my Front Brakes to this Brembo set.
Perhaps when I add a little more power to my B8.5 allroad.

Can you do SQ5 brake pads and rotors please?

Ben Yuen says:

Hi can you post how to change 2014 Audi Q5 oil pan thank you !

Bill Cunningham says:

Sure NOW you post a step by step video. I did this last Summer on my Audi 3.2L Q5 with parts from FCP Euro. It all went together well but this project was the thing that got me to pull the trigger on a Milwaukee 3/8 Impact M18. Dealer wanted $900 for the same service. Uuummm nope.
