I’ve changed rear bulbs on my 2002 Audi A4 at least twice. Tomorrow I need
to do it again, and I must say this video is a better guide than I’ve
previously seen.
It is an abomination of Audi design that we need this kind of help. A
12-year-old could easily have changed bulbs on my 1987 BWM 325i without
guidance. And so did I, for that matter.
James, thanks for the video. It was very helpful. My left brake light
went out on my 2008 Audi A4 the other day. I watched your video a few
times and was able to change the bulb with no problem. While changing the
bulb, the insert tabs that hold the lights in place were in different
positions than in your video. However, I was still able to follow what you
said. After I was done, the warning light turned off. Please continue to
post videos about your Audi experience. Very helpful.
Are you familiar with check engine light warning? It came on the other
day. I wanted to know if there was anything I can do before I took it to
an Independent Audi repair shop. Thanks.
how many audi techs to change a light bulb ? answer one tech, $150 and a
morning dropping car off. anyone know how to change a fog light on a 2004
a8 ? thanks in advance
Great video thanks for that. I had success with one of my tail lights, but
when i went to unscrew the other I cracked off the plastic bracket on the
tail light. Whoever previously screwed it in didn’t do it properly and the
screw was off the tread and stuck. I’ve tried to glue it back but it’s not
too sturdy. Do you know anywhere i can get the metal screw insert as the
tread is warped in it? Or any other suggestions bar getting a new tail
light? Thanks
Great video. I changed a light bulb for the second time yesterday and
noticed that the release screw head was worn from my first bulb change.
It’s as if Audi have deliberately used a weak screw head to put us off
changing a bulb. My advice is to use an 8mm socket to release the screw and
there is also less chance of loosing it by dropping it inside the chassis.
@peterahjorter so if the bulbs explode, their is a less chance of them
ripping his fingers open, also it is said that you should never touch a
bulb on the glass end because it gets oils from your fingers on the glass
which causes it to boil up when the bulb is lit and eventually breaking the
bulb. i always touch my bulbs and sometimes they do break, but now before i
put them back i clean em
MAny thanks for this tutorial. It was exactly the same housing I had to
deal with and really easy to follow and replicate. Only problem was there
was no audio to go with the video. Thanks!

Why are you wearing plastic gloves????

Does anyone know what the red tag under the cover he pulled off does?
That was a perfect video. I had no idea it was sooooo easy. Thank you. Save
me a hundred dollars and a trip to the dealership for a bulb. Thank you.
Thank you, but just for future advice, the music is unnecessary and
distracting.
Thanks for the excellent step by step video… made it easy
