Fix your headliner on 2009 to 2016 Audi A4 or A5 B8 and B8.5
In this video I show the headliner removal, fabric recovering, and re-installation. I bought the headliner fabric from headlinermagic.net
The only tools you need are a T25 torx bit, a trim removal kit, and a right angle flat screwdriver or bent piece of metal to remove the grab handles.
2 yards of fabric, and 2 cans of adhesive and about 6 hours of project time to get it done over 2 days.

Hey I know this is an older video but by any chance how would I get the headliner out of a 2013 Audi rs5 I have the headliner completely unhooked I just have no clue on how to take the dam thing out thank you!
Good job thanks. I am going to attempt the same. These are now old and not very valuable cars so it's not cost effective IMHO to use a shop to do this.

@carsandcoding thanks for the video! Very helpful in getting to the problem of my headliner leak/staining. Found the disconnected hose and joint and did a minor mod.
I did one and turned out perfect, it wasn't with sponge btw, and it could be teared off and corrected where needed
Is not easy is hard to get uninstall and install and get apply the fabric cos I’m due before on two pick truck
I'm actually surprised that handles are not held in place by screws.
Root cause: I've watched a few of these headliner repair videos and no one seems to mention the cause. Sure, there's age, but they all "seem" to start sagging where the sunroof drain holes are (2 in the front and 2 in the rear). From the videos I've seen, the leaks/sagging are not necessarily due to clogged drain holes, but due to the unions/joints failing in the drain line tubing. So, after I take care of the drain lines, then I'll repair the headlining. As always, thanks for a great video!

when trimming and folding over the edges did you put more glue on?

Damn that was a lotof work for not a great result. I guess you really need to stretch the fabric to the contours otherwise I wouldn't bother with it
