I got the aftermarket gasket from ECS too. It was part number: ES#978. It looks like they don’t sell that part any more. It cost around $17. That should have been the first red flag.

The job should only take about an hour. However it took longer for me because the aftermarket gasket that i bought did not fit correctly. That took me a few hours to tinker with until I figured it out. I went to the dealership the next day and bought an OEM gasket and everything fell right into place. Lesson learned= buy OEM for stuff like this.
