Is your Honda or Acura leaking engine oil? This is a common occurrence on just about every Honda and Acura vehicle. More specifically, every vehicle made from 1997-2022 all use the exact same gasket located on the oil pump which typically goes bad after about 200,000 miles. It isn’t crucial to change it right away, however, the longer you wait, the worse the oil leak will get. To replace this gasket, you first need to remove the timing belt. So it would be wise to wait until your next timing belt/water pump replacement service to perform this fix at the same time since it is a costly and timely job.
Check out my other video on how to replace a Timing Belt here: https://youtu.be/UapBejKi3PI?si=qsDFv5yKG-aJMrVF
Before replacing this oil pump gasket, it might be worth replacing the oil filter assembly gaskets first. Although not as common, these gaskets too can be the source of an oil leak and are much easier to replace. Plus, these gaskets will need to be replaced either way, so it would be best practice to see if this fixes your leak first before doing the much more difficult oil pump gasket repair. I’ll be demonstrating how to replace all these gaskets on my 2008 Acura MDX.

Very nice how you showed disection of the parts diagrams, not usual in many videos but can be a very strong tool and not known by some for a technician professional or diy.
Should I do the oil pump first/oil pan before the timing belt and water pump? What would u recommend?
No gasket between pan and oil pump?
Hello, what about how to remove the timing belt and how to put it back
