it dependd on the tuner….some tuners charge a flat rate and other tuners
charge by the hour….if your in north fl i can rec a tuner for you in my
area

bonymac23 says:

I didnt tell hondata anything about what mods i have etc. ButTo be exact i
took my ecu to a tuner. He was a authorize hondata tuner. The only diff
with that is i got hooked up with a deal for a better price. If you choose
to send it in yourself they have a number from the website you can call to
be sure. and my ecu is a Kpro

ricardochaparro says:

how much was the cost for that ECU?

bonymac23 says:

I think you can but i wouldnt recommend it cause that ECU has settings set
for your stock motor not he k24a2

Trevor Berry says:

oh ok thanks, and how much is it for a reflashing!?

lespaulguitarist92 says:

Just curious, what info did hondata require you to give when you buy the
reflash or kpro? did you have to list all your mods to them? Was your ecu
reflash or kpro? if reflashed, does it already come pre-tuned from hondata?

importtunerguy81 says:

Cool. I have a turbo RSX-S with K-Pro

Robert Trev says:

Want to get kpro for my 06 rsx type s.How much did it cost to get it tuned?

Efren Ambriz says:

Ok so im going to get a kpro for my 02 civic with a d17 and ima swap the
engine to a k24a2 can i use my stock ecu from my 1.7 to the k24?

Josh Brown says:

Did you steal this car?

Trevor Berry says:

what mods do they recommend you haveing???

luissanto786 says:

You can run a hondata on a stock type s

Trevor Berry says:

can this add or tap into more horsepower??

bonymac23 says:

@djr3y90 yea pretty much. The name of the company that upgrades the Ecu is
called hondata. They install the k-pro in your ECU

bonymac23 says:

my ecu is Kpro……you can go to clubrsx.com that where i got all my
resources from

bonymac23 says:

yes you can…but with other mods you can do whole lot more

bonymac23 says:

yea with the right kinf of aftermarket mods.. intake, exhaust, camber kit,
fuel incetcors etc…

bonymac23 says:

no its my car i bought it lol

bonymac23 says:

No i did not have to send that in. If i remember correctly the only time
you would have to to do that is if you are upgrading your ecu from a
reflash. but if your gonna get the kpro the ecu is all you need. For more
info and details you can go to Clubrsx.com

bonymac23 says:

@cOdGd7 no you dont need an intake or exhaust to run it but its recommended
along with other bolt on parts. My upgrade came from Hondata.com but its
better to get the upgrade from a hondata authorize dealer cause from there
they can tune it for you

ohsnapzitzmeng says:

hey when you send in your ECU is that all you need? or do you need to send
in your key imobolizer too

cOdGd7 says:

yo do you need to have more then an exhaust and intake to run hondata???
and where did u get the hondata from.

ek wemo says:

Hondata kpro is a s300 chip the verry same thing that people use in for the
obd1 Ecu.I call it B pro…the only difference is that it going in to a
obd2 Ecu..other then that it’s just a s300 it says it right on hondata
sight s300 kpro..the soft wear is the same the data tables are the same and
it’s has the same features as the one for the obd1 set up..and now they all
the same version 2 models s300..the only Ecu that tops hondata s300 is the
Aem ems 2,other then that its best Ecu mod thats on t
