I put up a video on how to put the motor back in. This one doesn’t show how to and a lot of people are having issues getting the motor back in after removing it for testing.

I went to the dealer for by 2013 civic. They said its the VSA Module. Can I just replace the motor like you did?

Eric Baugh says:

Thanks for the video. I’ve removed the pump but I can get it back on. Can you explain how you performed the jump to retract the two rods in the VSA assembly? Thanks

Sardar Mulk says:

How did you put the pump back into the module? There is a tiny bearing which is hard to snap in. Could you please share

I say prove me wrong sir! I dare you to take it out again and show us just how you powered it up while sliding it in! I think the way your explaining how to reinstall the motor, while every conveniently not showing it at all, is completely impossible! You took it off, like everyone else and discovered it wasn’t going back on! To save face you bought another pump then showed it after you installed it. I’ve repaired automobiles for 30 years. Mercedes,Porsche,Lexus. The only way I was able to this was by gently prying the bearing off the shaft and pushing the bearing in first then The pump motor shaft into the bearing. It’s not easy. You can not just push the bearing in flat, because the pins won’t move back. This is hard to explain. Imagine the bearing laying flat on a table. This is the position its in when installed. Now before you install it Turn the bearing up on it edge, like it’s a wheel on the table top.in this position it could roll across the theoretical table top. In this position you push it into the circle it normally sits in flush, laying flat. But you push its edge into the 3 and 6 o’clock positions of the pens. Push it in edge first will push back the pins, then push it down flat into the hole it lays flat in. Then push the motor shaft back into the bearing and then put the screws in and gently go around and evenly pull the motor back down flush to the housing. Good luck. I would definitely just put in the whole pump assembly and bleed the brakes if I ever had to do it again. Good luck to all that try.
