neo1738 says:

Wouldn’t that ignition light prevent cars from passing inspection? OBDII
will require a certain period of no fault in order to pass at least in NY.
Thus it would seem you can’t use your remote start for a period of time in
order to pass inspection?

John Smith says:

On those PTS vehicles can you just get in turn the ignition on and drive
away or do you have to shut the car off then restart it?

Stephen Phillips says:

With an engine start/stop button, and a code alarm remote starter, does the
car stay on when you turn it to accessories like in regular key ignitions?

AutoToys says:

For push to start cars, to turn on accessories, you dont press the brake
and push the start button once to go to accessory. (radio)

AutoToys says:

Yes, it will say this when the car is started. It is normal. As long as you
get in, unlock the doors and do not restart the car within 5 seconds of
shutting it down, the warning light will go away.

AutoToys says:

The proper and the safe way to do it is to have the car shut down when the
door is opened, which is the way we installed it in this car. The keyless
off the door handle still works, but once a door is opened, it will shut
down, and then you will need to restart the car.

Andy Levrero says:

what about the check keyless sys light during the remote start, is that
normal?
