Have one of these cars. Lemon. Totally. Most problematic car I have ever had and I have had a lot of cars that I keep a long time. Parts are expensive too. Love Hondas but I will never buy another Acura product again! >_<

Joshua Lang says:

IDLE CONTROL VALVE SENSOR, very common in Honda / Acura vehicles. Easy Fix. Part costs about $150
Had exact same problem, just swapped the old our with a new one. Stays between 800-900 RPM’s now…

iac valve is clogged – common issues for honda and acura

bman3800bman3800 says:

Throttle position sensor, Mine did the same thing

tigerpause444 says:

I would check with your mechanic and see if it’s the idle air control valve.. relatively inexpensive (under $150). I’m not sure if your car has that though… good luck my friend.. drive safe

flexor212000 says:

I have an 05 TSX. While it doesn’t do this at all idle (idle behaves how it should) When i go about 40mph the idle bounces a bit. It only happens on a certain RPM range it seems like. Best way to describe was some slight “bouncing” / “pulsing”. Do you think this might be related? Thanks.

tigerpause444 says:

right!! the IAC valve was replaced shortly after i did this vid, and my ride works fine now.. thanks!!

jrupan27 says:
