I wish you could of explained more about the importance of the OBD connector and what function it served? If you do lose the computer memory, what would happen? How bad would this be in terms of your cars computer? I once jumped the battery on my wife's car back in the day and it turned out I fried the computer. It was a costly to replace. I may have hooked up the negative terminal first instead of the positive. Please go more into detail about why you are hooking up an OBD.
