EPA Beefing Up Emissions Tests in Wake VW, Audi Cheating Scandal

One week after Volkswagen copped to cheating on federal emissions tests of popular VW and Audi “clean-diesel” cars, the Environmental Protection Agency sent a letter to vehicle manufacturers Friday announcing it was toughening its emissions tests.
