Question did you need to changed pcv valve o-ring / grommet also?

@deloreswe3485 says:

Would this cause the engine to not accelerate at times

@neilwilliams2193 says:

Just because it❤ rattles that does not make it good.

@jokerr207 says:

would this cause built up oil pressure?

@neilwilliams2193 says:

Just because it rattles it does not mean it's good. If you blow into the long part air should not come out the other end. This is how you test it.

Hello, I am the owner of Nissan X Trail 2.5 Petrol 165 PS. 2003 year. Car uses oil every 400-500km needs extra, no signs of smoke or leaks . In the group of Nissan I was told it might be PVC Valve , Is it possible that this problem is from him, I look forward to your reply. Thank you

I have a Rogue Sport which is for the most part similar to your Rogue except it has a 2 liter engine. Is the PCV in the same place on it too? Not sure if you know or not. Just trying to figure out where it is. I was considering a catch can since these are direct injected and the fuel going in does not clean the valves. This can slowly rob you of that new feeling that the vehicle had when you first got it and everything was as smooth as can be. I also realize that the CVTs these vehicles have shall not be neglected if you hope to keep them for any period of time.

Thanks for the suction test. My new pcv valve didn’t really make the crackle sound when shaken but the suction test checked good.

Thanks for the informative and straight to the point video. Do you recommend changing the hose when you change the pcv or is that not a big deal?
