You’ve made this look really easy. I will replace the part this weekend. My
oil pressure drops to 0 and the check gauge light flashes when I come to a
stop but it picks back up when I accelerate. I just had the oil pressure
sending unit/switch changed but that did not solve my problem. This is my
next step. Hope this solves it. Gmc 2002 envoy
Nice job shooting the video and replacing the sensor at the same time! The
video was short and right to the point and saved me a lot of time finding
out how to replace the sensor…cheesy music was cool! Thanks again!
If your having trouble starting your SUV when you turn the switch then
replace it. On my SUV I scan it and it gave me two codes. One was service
engine, the second was reduce engine power. So I replace the camshaft,
Cranckshaft sensors and the gas pedal. That fix all problems.
Actually use a 10mm wrench or socket. And tiny screwdriver placed up the
electrical socket on the side of the part tab lifts lock to easily remove
the electrical socket. Thanks this video helped a lot.
Good video! On my 2005 GMC Envoy the cam shaft sensor was on the right side
of the car. The thing you pointed to at the beginning is the cam shaft
position actuator. I had to replace the cam shaft pos sensor and actuator.
Your other video was a life savor showing me where the crank shaft pos
sensor was, i had to replace that also!
I love your videos and find them very helpful it would be cool if you
explained why you had to change these sensors or what the envoy was doing
before you changed them.
I did clean the throttle first and it did not solve the problem.
I just needed to know where It was located but I stayed for the music, LOL.
What code was the ecu throwing?
