The car is moving right along, I like the suspension setup, nice and clean.
I can’t believe how clean you are LOL. I was working on my floors and was
covered head to toe and you removed an entire 1/4 without getting a spec on
ya. My wife said it looked like someone sprayed the grime on me. I always
look forward to your videos, thanks for putting them up!! You ROCK!!
gonna have to weed it too, lol. saw an 110″ screaming eagle parked outside
the diner this morning for breakfast made me think of you. had real nice
paint too.
And here I thought that the plug cutter and the step cutter was a
revelation. I just finished drilling out a couple hundred spot welds
thinking how fortunate I was not having to use standard drill bits like in
the old days… and you whip out the Spitznagel! Now I want one, they are
over $500, but I’ve probably spent twice that on bits drilling out spot
welds over the years. Great vid man, Thank You for this.
I went through all of the comments and nobody expressed any remorse for the
factory steel as I feel. Did you weigh up repairing and refitting the
original quarter? It didn’t look rusty I saw some wobble not much worse
than the repo. I take it you removed it to improve the old collision repair
and get your trunk fitting, please correct me if I have miss understood.
Great vid’s thanks I like and subscribe.
hi Jeff…I watch your vids along with those Pete puts up. what kind of
prep do you do regarding the inside guts (uncovered when you removed the
quarter panel) saw where Pete used some POR15 (brushed on) is there a good
spray on material you could shoot on these exposed innards? to be honest
with ya, I’ve not heard alot regarding this section of the cars (when you
can actually get to it) and it makes me think that taking this step could
help avoid some of the cancer down the road.
I love watching you rip those old panels off and put the new metal badk
into place. You make the whole thing look so easy, it isn’t easy at all but
someone like you make it look easy and all new again. Thanks for the video
Jeff. Cheers OLDDUDE

What are some of the strangest treasures you found tearing into a car.?
Rare car. Not many SS 6 bangers built. 3 on the tree is cool. Tell him to
leave it that way.

my 64 and all the lead we poured in the rear quarters.
old sockets and wrenches, church keys, things like that.
That tool is awesome, that spot weld spumoney spunkinator thing there.
