Does this fix the power door lock as well ? Mine doesn’t work and my power
windows only work on the driver side and not on the passenger side, only at
the respective doors do they work.
exactly what i needed. thanks!
does to correspond with the 2dr 97

@buttafrumdastuy It sshould be a similar process.
My driver side window could go down, but not up, so I ordered a new power
window motor from you guys. When it got here I tested it before installing,
and the motor goes down, but not up, same as before. So I know it’s not the
motor’s fault now. Could it be the switch, or wiring, is wrong (I have a
feeling it could be either)? I’m going to order a new window switch from
you guys (as seen in the video). Do you think that is a good next step to
try? Thanks, any information will help!!
I thought I had a bad regulator on my driver side power window (96 Accord)
and took it out following your very good video — thx! Now it seems that
there is no power to the the motor from the master switch (four contact,
blue/black, blue/yellow, red, & black wires). The blue wires are shorted
together and become open when the switch is pulled. Neither of the blue
wires going into the switch have voltages (three other wires have ~11V).
Could it be the switch? All other three window Ok.
Hi I have 1 96 LX and when i bought the car a month ago, the windows would
move down slowly, and the rear windows only went down halfway. Today, I
went into the car and only the master driver window works. All the others
do not even if I use the individual controls to try and roll the window
down. Power mirrors work fine and all fuses are good. Could this be a
master switch?
ok thank you i will try that, another question? my speedometer only works
when it wants to sometime ill be driving and it doesnt work & then all of
the sudden it starts working out of nowhere? how do i fix this?
Thanks so much.
Hi 3 of my power Windows work, but not the passenger side back window. Any
ideas? Also, all if the power locks don’t work, does that module in the
video govern the locks too?
@1aauto I would like to buy the switch that you said you have in different
colors on your site but I cannot find it. I need it in beige. Can you
please send me the link so I can purchase it? I also need a new pwer door
switch as well.
Thank you very much
help me a lot. tks.
You could try to spray the weatherstrip around the window with some
silicone spray, to see it that speeds them up a bit. If it doesn’t the
window motors could be getting worn out. We sell this kit if you end up
needing to replace them. Just copy and paste into your browser

@monster919 Can’t say 100% this is the problem on your car but this is a
common problem and we sell a lot of these switches for Honda Accord at 1A
Auto dot com
It may be the speed sensor acting up. If you end up needing one we carry
them on our website. Here’s a link to them on our site. Just copy and paste
this url into your browser.

We do not carry the wire harness that goes to the window switch.
You may want to test the switch with a test light, and also check the wire
harness between the driverside door and body of the car for a broke or
frayed wire that could also cause this type of situation. Hope this helps
you out.
My 1995 honda passenger windows and locks will not work. Would relplacing
the swich work or is there a wiring problem? I have check all the fuses,
and they are fine.
@Misskitty931 Sounds like your motor or window regulator is bad. We sell
the motor and regulator on our site and have a video for the replacement.
nice vid, but i have a question… what is the name the gray plastic part?,
the one that come out from the door, have inside the master power window
swicht? please answer, that piece boken on my car.
I have a 2009 honda civic dx-vp. it has no power locks. i called an alarm
place and they said they do power locks installation but it would only work
through the remote since the car itself has no button for power locks. it
has buttons but they are grayed out and you cant click them. if i was to
buy a master switch from a higher trim honda civic with the switch for
lock/unlocking doors, do you think they would be able to wire the power
lock system they install to those buttons?
It should be referred to as a master window switch bezel. hope this helps
you out. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
@s15lvia If it’s a 94-97 it should be pretty similar.
That switch controls the power windows. The power lock switch is separate.
What you may want to do is test the power going to the switch with a test
light to see if there’s power going to it. If there’s no power going to the
door lock switch or rear windows, check the wire loom between the drivers
side door and the body of the car for a broken or a frayed wire. Also check
all of the fuses to may sure that they are okay too.Hope this helps you out.
@BiGMiKe314 It looks like our supplier discontinued the colors sorry.
i have a 95 accord & the rear windows go up & down just fine but the front
windows struggle to roll up i sometimes need to help by pulling the window
for it to roll up, but they both roll down just fine what is the problem?
Great video man.. i thought i had the same problem.. but it wasn’t really
the switch that needed to be replaced. my window on the driver’s side won’t
roll up anymore its ALL the way down.. and won’t come up… i thought that
getn a new window switch for my 97 honda accord wud fix it but it didnt. It
helped the other 3windows roll up faster but my driver side window still
wont roll up. When i Try to roll it up it doesn’t work.. it doesn’t even
make a sound like its trying to roll up.. HELP? 🙁
You may want to ask the installer to see what else they would need.
The switch could be the issue in this case.
hey i got your switch for my 97 accord lx and the switch is too bad and
doesnt fit properly and i noticed in the video it didnt fit properly too is
the new switch supposed to just not fit right or are they all screwed up?
