In this video I explain why I installed a RIP kit on my car. It will enhance performance and refresh the turbo piping system.

Damn you have a T-gul (T-Yellow) volvo 850. In sweden a volvo 850 T5R in the color T-gul as its called goes for at least 200.000 SEK.
Does anyone know if they make Reverse Intercooler Pipes for 2002 Volvo s60s ? I only see the for other types of volvos. Never the s60
Thats a very informative video! I am looking at getting an older t5 or R volvo, so I am doing some research at the moment.
Robert DIY – I'm glad I found your Channel! I've been working on a buddies 2004 C70. I'm in my 40's and I appreciate your explanations. I'm guessing you've been on Volvo Forums for quite a while as well. Here is a video that I made last week on the Intercooler Pipes for my buddies C70. I'm considering an 850 Wagon if I can find one in good shape. I'm in California so I think I can find one in good shape. Been a Dodge guy in the late 80's, Toyota/Honda/Mazda in the 90's, Foreign since mid 2000's. Just lost a 2005 Audi Allroad 2.7L Bi Turbo to an accident. Missing it badly. Anyways, great videos! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFIUkRzVuFM
Where do you get the RIP
Robert I lost your number. Need your help. At V A hospital since Thursday. I almost checked out. Carmen has the C30
Hi Robert, I'm going to go this route.
Do advice to do this mod on s80 T5 2011 2.5
Subbed!!!
I just got an ‘04 v70 Xc T5, first time Volvo owner.
Aside from the topic of this video, what other performance recommendations would you have Robert diy?
How much flex is acceptable with these intake tubes? Only about a half inch of movement? Or more like none at all? To be functional as a daily driver, that may need to pass someone.
Do you always have that turbo heatshield off or do you do it only for video purposes?
what is the stainless pipe that is passing over the motor in the middle i think mine is missing ?
What do you think about adding a blow off valve? i love that sound ! And the Volvo engineers did a great job of silencing the turbo sound . I wish I could hear the turbo without loud exhaust. Any ideas
Man I just recently bought a volvo, and I hate to ask because i'm sure you hear questions all the time and I hope you don't mind answering mine, butI was curious to see if a c70 intercooler would fit up the same as a v70 intercooler would. My v70 is a 99 that had gotten into a scrapple with a fence. So after weeks of searching I found a used c70 intercooler whereas I couldn't find a v70 intercooler for mine less than about $300 brand new. The reason I can't just go to a scrapyard is that the three closest to me usually scraps theirs out unless their cars are less than ten years old. It's been a predicament.
Hey Robert check out my video I just posted my RN SWAP IS ALIVE!!!
this is an improvement I'm going to make as soon as possible because I love the T5 engine I own a 98 Volvo V70 there a sleeper baby
Excellent demonstration when you rev the engine and the hose collapses!! I have the IPD RIP kit. As you state, definitely more responsive. Also, a big plus for the 850 is that it's easier to get to the auto trans dip stick:-))
Hello Robert, can this also be applied to Ford Focus ST 225? It's actually running a Volvo 5 cylinder unit from the factory, 2,5 litre B5254T. Thanks for answer.
I thought he sold Queen Bee a.while ago. Did I miss something.
Can you put a twin turbo t6 motor in a Volvo v70
My mom bought a 96 850 and I have been maintaining it for her. It is high mileage and seems like almost everything has gone throng with it. In the space of a couple years I have replaced the pcv system, brakes, struts, radiator, thermostat, tie rods, trans fluid, timing belt/water pump, fuel sender gasket and lines, headlight lens, blend door servos, odometer gears, and probably more I can’t think of right now. While I am very comfortable with this kind of work, I had no experience with and Volvo before this one, your videos have literally made it possible for me to maintain and repair this car for her. Thank you so much for your instruction and explanation on these cars, you are a blessing.
Okay then Robert, I'm getting one, along with their (Snabb) tougher intercooler. The car's just getting better and better.
Put on in panther
Just learned something
I just watched this again and I don't even own this model. Its informative and entertaining. Made me want this RIP kit and I have no use for. I know you just sold 15 of these for Snabb. They better recognize. Ha nice job. 200,000 subs HERE HE COMES.
