Can you explain why you replaced that? What are the symptoms? If i have my emissions deleted does that thing still works or no?

I've had a 7th injector code for a while, swinging by the dealer to scoop up an injector tomorrow. Very informative.

Just clean it . No need to replace with new one. There is no mechanism in it.

In an emergency situation can I run a wire thru it to clear out the injector temporarily?

Great video! Can you correct me if I’m wrong? I heard towards the end of the video that if I replace the 7th injector myself and don’t have a computer to reset. When I do the Regen it will reset itself?

I broke a bolt on this when tightening and didn’t replace the whole 7th injector exhaust. Got a local machine shop to extract broken bolt and rethread the strip threading. Got new bolts with some lock washers.

You wouldn't happen to know if I can use the otr performance tool to reset the ecm opposed to recalibrating after replacement? I worked for me after I replaced the nox sensors but I can't seem to find any info regarding the injector, everyone says they just clean the original and pop it back on with no problems

Thanks man very informative

If you ever strip the threads on that pipe after the turbo, just use heli-coil stainless steel insert of the rite size for that bolt, cant remember now the size but it works amazing, dont need to replace all those parts. Very little torque is needed on those little fine thread bolts. 14+-0.5Nm(125+-4.5 in-lb)

Hi
Thank you for your videos! Very helpful.
Just a quick question..I have a 2010 vnl with a water and air cooled 7th injector..wondering if it can be replaced with a newer generation one without water and air coming to it.
Thanks
