hi Rob, I have the same Volvo keyfob as the video. The small chromed ring on the end opens up – is there a DIY replacement for this little ring – I wish to attach it to my house key ring

Do you need a torx screw driver to separate the physical key from the electrical components? Will be borrowing this key/ car from my mom and hoping to be able to take the key in the water.
