Volvo Rear Spring Replacement

Volvo Rear Spring Replacement

This is a rear spring replacement on a 2012 Volvo XC60. Support lower control arm with jack. Remove control arm to knuckle bolt. Lower jack, you may need to hammer arm down. Remove spring. Attach spring isolator to new spring and reinstall. Make sure to note the notches on the top and bottom spring perches. Jack up control arm, squeezing the spring and arm into the knuckle. Install bolt.

I am planning to do the same replacement on my XC60. How did you put the jack stand under the car. there is only one rear jack point of on each side. If you use floor jack to raise the rear, how did you put the jack stand and replace the floor jack? Thanks.
