How many times have you been behind a Volvo and noticed that its rear muffler was unsupported and bouncing around? Even better, have any of you AWD owners out there ever experienced a condition when driving through water, slush, or snow where you start to hear a high pitched squealing sound coming from underneath your vehicle?? What if I told you that there are factory solutions for both?
Exhaust clamp kits are available as a service solution for damaged or missing hangers. This kit allows a repair to be made without replacing the entire exhaust system. Designed to fit directly on the pipe without any welding. Just install the new clamp in place of the old hanger. Remaining pieces of the old hanger may need to be cut off before the new part can be installed.

Do you have similar solutions for 2012 xc60
What about 2005 C70
So I have a 2007 Volvo S60 2.5 t and the middle bracket for the exhaust ended up coming loose
IS THAT SUITABLE FOR A 2001C70
Great presentation and video
5 min install is a slight exaggeration; if the exhaust pipe has dropped at all, she's a bitch to get on and screwed tight.
Would this be the same for a 240?
Lmao.. replaces a rusted off hanger with a bolt on one, thats just gonna rust off twice as fast.. great advice. real techs weld on a new one. jeez.
Will this cause a slight drop in the exhaust from the rear? I know there is another hanger rightb befor the pipe sticks out mine seems fine but exhaust is slighlty dropped from the rear
For the rear one at the muffler box https://www.ebay.com/itm/VOLVO-S60-S80-V70-XC70-REAR-EXHAUST-REPAIR-HANGER-BRACKET/362635916556?hash=item546ec8f50c:g:JsoAAMXQvtZQ3yQe
That bracket is installed backwards. It lines up square with the rusty leftovers from the original bracket.
this is great — but I'm looking for the clamp at the back and this clamp appears to be in the center. Does anyone know the part for the rear clamp by the tailpipe?
Gotta change mine too. But that price tho..
Thanx. nice educational video.
