All my cars are MB’s but still good info for the novice Volvo owner.

@djdinsrivera says:

You made it look easy! Thanks for this video.

@pierret8954 says:

No brake grease?

@robertwalker1742 says:

Kill the effin music man.

@Greebstreebling says:

Presumably there are torque settings for those bolts? Don't drive it if you haven't torqued up the bolts/ nuts according to spec.

@bredbrain9223 says:

Anyone know the rotor size for a 2019 s60 t6?

@ispy3836 says:

Pity about the music.

@isaiah5721 says:

you did a half way job , because you dint grease the brake pins neither used the brake compresion tool

@frankbaci6611 says:

The music is horrible and loud , ruined the video !

@user-cb5xh6ij4d says:

You did not talk to compressing the caliper piston or bleeding when done. Why were those steps omitted? Not required on a Volvo?

Great video

@peegee9931 says:

I would just add a couple of comments. Before compressing the caliper piston the brake fluid reservoir cap should be removed and some paper put around it in case it overflows, also before the new rotor is put in place the hub mating surface should be cleaned with a wire brush, its something that often doesn't get a mention.

@yeungkawo says:

My front calipers ain’t fastened by 7mm , but looks like 12mm

@johnowen8835 says:

The 18 mm bolts don't use any Loctite? How come you did not apply any grease on the caliper surface where the pads slide? I am going to try doing the brakes (First time ever) on my Volvo XC90 front & rear thx for video.

@pablocruiser209 says:

Mistake #1. Use Volvo parts. Lots of good aftermarket parts but the original is far superior.

@peterweissman5837 says:

Another amateur brake job. #1. both the caliper bolts and sliding pins have specific torque values. But you didn't use a torque wrench and likely don't know the proper torque specs. #2.typically blue Loctite should be applied to the caliper bolts. #3.Before installing the new disc the wheel hub face should be wire brushed clean and a light coating of anti seize applied. #4. the caliper should always be secured with a bungee cord or wire hanger to prevent strain on the brake hose.

Peter Weissman

I'm hoping that you had a jack stand holding the car up and NOT just the hydraulic jack. Any lubricant, antiseize? You from Jersey, too? What exit?

@onegod7257 says:

HE MEANT T-50 BIT FOR ROTOR, NOT T-15!!!!
…AND OPEN THE BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR WHEN COMPRESING CALIPER.

@paulringrose03 says:

Great video. Had to laugh when I had the same problem of the wrong pads here in the UK.

Torque specs?
