Nice clear video Pat, nice to hear a British accent for a change! I’ve got
a Volvo 850 and had to remover the entire steering knuckle to drill out a
reluctant wheel bearing stud; now, for the life of me, I cannot get the tie
rod end to re-seat properly on the steering knuckle. I got the control arm
back on without any bother but I can only get part of the tie rod bolt
shaft through with enough thread to attach the nut by about 5 turns, but
that’s as far as I can get it. Was yours easy to knock through or did you
have any difficulty? My car is jacked on one side only – might that make a
difference? I dot want to risk shearing the thread on the bolt or the nut.
Any suggestions? Thanks
