This works good but I still had some leakage during heavy storms. Even had a tool from Amazon with a brush on it down there many times and drained multiple pints down them.

The best thing to do is to blow it out with pressurized air and watch all of the bullshit come out of the drain.

If it doesn’t come out, then something else is leaking a.k.a. check the seals around the doors and windows or windshields

Tech here. Using video to see if there is any rear drains (does not look like it). Before you go as far as doing all of this simply boil yourself about 2 oz of water and pour them down the drains. This will clear out all the gunk and dirt that traps itself in the drains. If it still isn't draining after that then go as far as he does in this video.

Bottom of my tailgate gets wet when it rains. More so after I open and close it again, I think it’s coming out where the close button is. Any ideas that can help?

I saw this video last night. Went to Lowe's this morning, bought the trimmer line, and unclogged the drains in my 2007 Dodge Caliiber which had been blocked/leaking since a hurricane two months ago. Thank you!

@miscbits6399 says:

i had a car internally flood and growing mushrooms thanks to blocked drains and not being used in the lockdowns. Scrapped it as a biohazard

@denisvermeirre1024 says:

Sunroof drains have always been a weakness of Volvos. 700 sunroof drains are the most reliable Volvo ever made. In 140s and 240s, the drain would run past the fuse panel. It the drainline was blocked, the drain would overflow into the fuses.

@CurtKenzie says:

This is why we heavily suggest you get the drain clean with a scheduled service.

I had 1 car with a sunroof. Never had a second. The trouble is just not worth it.

@capncanuck1 says:

The purple drain line can shrink over time and become disengaged from the sun roof tray drain.
Volvo sells slightly longer ones than what came from factory. But yea, check your drains.

@greymemory says:

Thank you. I recently experienced this with those April rains.
