Great video, is the plastic lense on the dash cluster swapable?

SeaJay3 says:

My air bag connector was different and I couldn’t disconnect it, but I was
able to swing the dash out of the way enough to remove the instrument
cluster. This seemed to be an intimidating task but your video was thorough
and informative and made it…easy peazy. Thanks Cameron.

I’m a girl – I am so like what ? I try to do guy stuff often and it is not
easy – looks like I am going to lose a part – I’ve met me before. Lol – I
am here because I want to make a custom dash cover

andrew golba says:

Can you tell is it much different to remove the dash from a 2008 Model V70

SeaJay3 says:

That’s great Cameron. I think I’ve tried more difficult things on this car
so I’m going to try this. A very well done tutorial.

MikeyFraz1 says:

Thank you very much for taking the time to make this video. I’ve got a
squeaky dash and I’m gonna try to fix it. I really appreciate the
comprehensive instructions.

nollydolly99 says:

what’s the name of the bulbs?

Viesturs Caceks says:

How about volvo 850 1996

Dr. Dildonics says:

Thank you, My fellow Mangos.

uurf says:

Could you guys post a bideo about the 2001-2005 V70 Dash Removal?

Haukur Kjartansson says:

Wear latex/rubber gloves when changing lightbulbs to avoid getting fat on
the bulb, that way it lasts longer. Lightbulbs that have fat on it burns
warmer and therefore burns up faster.

Mark Smith says:

My 2000 S 70 has a dashboard that sounds like it’s falling off every time
you go over a minor bump. It seems the metal dash support bar that the
vinyl dash attaches to is loose. When I got the car in 2000 the dealership
told me the “inner dash support crossmembers”were loose. I would also be
interested in any response you get about dash support mounts. Your video
was amazingly simple and has probably saved me $1600 in estimated repairs
to investigate the problem.

inlakesh555 says:

Excellent help, thanks a lot! English is not my native tongue, but
Cameron´s instructions are clear and easy to understand – thanks to the
filming-crew, too.

inlakesh555 says:

Because professionals are expensive.

drkaeppel says:

Would further disassembly be required to get to the dashboard mounts? I’m
fairly certain I have one or more cracked/ broken on my 99′ S70. Thanks for
posting this video. This looks much easier than I thought!

I would be interested in any response you got/get about the dash support
mounts on the S70. My whole dash moves now and squeaks insanely.

IPD rules!

Egghead820 says:

if this is so easy then why is it so expensive to have done?

Samsebeskazal NYC says:

Thx!

mikeflemming711 says:
