Joshua Coy says:

It’s best to use new coolant to avoid doing any damage to the new
thermostat due to the dirt and grime that is built up in the old coolant.
Old dirty coolant can completely destroy a thermostat, radiator, and even
the engine because the dirt clogs the channels in the engine block and
causes it to overheat. Happened to a friend of mine once, she had to get a
whole new car because of it. You can tell when the coolant becomes really
bad because it starts to literally look like thin mud.

add some new coolant into the system. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
