@Sifoonnn Call volvo ad write down the code. That’s what I did.
I just wish that the 850 had as good of a sound system (Dynaaudio 10
speaker system) as the C70s. Don’t get me wrong the 850 sound systme isn’t
bad with its 8 speaker system.
My center speaker dolby pro logic on my 98 Volvo C70 doesn’t seem to work
at all. Any suggestions? i have it on 3 ch or dolby with CD mode. The rear
speakers work with surround effects in dolby mode

Do volvo c70 radios die after 10 years? My 2001 C70 radio stopped working
and I dont know how to fix these complicated radios. Are there
replacements? If I order one from ebay do they have to send the system
codes with it?
if u change the stock head unit to a aftermarket one do u have to punch in
that code thing
@nickyperezz No. you wont have to put in a code anymore. But you may want
to search on ebay or IPDUSA or some other site for an adapter so that your
factory amp can remain on, otherwise your factory amp wont be on, and the
sound qulity wont be anywhere near as good as the factory system. Really it
is the bass on the rear 6×9’s(850’s), and component 8’s(C/S/V/XC70’s) that
suffers from the l;ack of an amp to push them. If you are putting in
aftermarket amp and speakers, then it won matter though.
