Thanks for your video, we learn more about this SUV, that we have.
Congratulations!!!
Great video! Worked like a champ. Thanks a bunch! I have a 2006 XC90, and
the procedure was the same. One comment I wanted to make was the filter
goes in just a little bit easier if you remove the mud mat/carpet. Also,
mine had two filters in it, but the reference to the slanted line is the
same for both filters. If you have or wish to replace both filters, people
should note that the two filters (front and back) are not the same.
Where is the rear filter?
@nongbu Excellent! Thank you for the comment, and you are very welcome! I
am glad it helped!
@TheQman2009 Thank you for the comment and for watching! I am glad the
video helped, and thank you for the info on the dual filter setup, I am
glad you were able to get your switched out! Thanks again for commenting!
thanks a bunch because i didnt know where that filter was, now am going to
change it on my ladies truck, now got to look for the one on my 2011 jeep.
Dear Texas coder – thanks you for the fantastic video. I just finished
installing the cab filter, with the confidence of knowing what I was doing
(all thanks to you) – I think I am going to venture out with the spark
plugs sometime soon. Thanks again!!! Juan
Nice job! I’m gonna change my filter myself now after watching you video!
Thank you, this video helps people that don’t want to take it to dealer
were they charge excessively for simply things like this.
wow, i had no idea that my volvo had a filter in there hahahahaha.sorry i
am a newby and learning. great video !!! thanks. =)
What are the part numbers for both filters? I also have room for 2 filters.
When I open the box only one was installed and the part number was
30630754. Just wondering what the part number for the other one would be.
The dealership was not helpful. They would not tell me the part numbers –
apparently want me to get these installed by them.
nice job!
Well done. Thanks for the video!
@Bdoggnc78 This is the sole reason I video my repairs. Thank you for the
wonderful words, I am glad this video helped. And I am glad I have met a
fellow Volvo XC90 owner, God bless you too. Thank you for watching and for
the comment!
Thanks for the awesome video guide. It made changing the filter on my 06
XC90 a breeze. I would have been so pissed if I paid the dealership to do
the job that I could have done myself with a little guidance! Truly
appreciate your work and effort to educate.
Amazing Video, my friend. Good well done. I feel confident that I can
change my own 2007 XC90 cabin filer now. God Bless, you.
@vyetukuri thank you for the comment! I am glad you enjoyed it! I try to
get video of any and all work that I do on my vehicles, just to let people
see what it takes and how to do it. Thanks again for watching!
Yes, it bends the spines. Not a huge deal, but Op did not install the new
filter in the right direction.
new filter just has different orientation in frame, vert. not hor. it is
installed correctly.
Hello The TexasCoder, my 2004 Volvo xc90 makes some weird noise at the rear
driver’s side when am about to pick up speed and also when slowing down. I
took it to a Volvo centre and was told its the rear shock absorber. In your
professional opinion, what other things could cause this weird noise and
also can you upload a video of how to replace the rear shockabsorber of a
2004 Volvo xc90. Thanks.
