I have a 2002 jetta 1.8t man!!! Let me tell u about it …I fucking got goldfish in that mothrrfucker… Thanks dude in going to check that out
hi there. i have a 2001 vw golf. i’ve found that the front two drains do work but i can’t seem to get the back two to drip. where are the openings in the sunroof side of the drainage system? i’ve found the front two holes but not the back two.
I went to the local vw dealership and described water leaks in both the passenger side like he has here and the trunk. They basically said that those plugs cause so many issues that they often just cut them off.
so dont worry about cleaning them, if a dealership is fine cutting them off then I am too.
i pulled the nipple off… and there isn’t enough hose to put it back on i can’t reach it… even with long bent pliers! how can I access this hose to put it back on?
Will it go back on?? I have a mk4 golf :(( lol
There is no plug on mine, just squeeze it and it will open. Then you can see if there is debris blocking the water from coming out.
Does the plug come off?? How to you actually clean them out lol please help x
Glad to help
This worked on my lupo thanks. The power of you tube!
I have a mk4 GTI What’s the best method for cleaning the drains?
just got my first mk3 vr6, a week later I came back and the passenger side rear was damp, while the trunk had a puddle a foot deep that wasn’t draining, already pulled the tubes out of the headliner, going to put week hacker line and water through it to clear it out
