UPDATE: I found the part number. I have the left plastic cover, but I’m missing the right one. I looked on the back of this plastic thing, and it has the part number printed on it. Just type that part number into google, and you’ll find a bunch of websites selling it for around $5

I want to buy a replacement, but can’t find it anywhere online. I have no idea what they’re called. If anyone knows the name of those plastic tabs, please let me know! Thank you!!!
Thanks for posting! I’m a newb when it comes to car upgrades/fixes. My side marker was popped out last week after some idiot in front of me on the highway ran over a tire tread and it came flying into the front of my beautiful GTI. I was too afraid to start pushing or pulling on it b/c I thought I would break it (even more). Now I can fix it with confidence!

Simple indeed. Nice car, I have an ’07 GLI but can’t find a video on how to replace a xenon head light if my life depended on it. I played with it but it’s flimsy now so there’s something I forgot to do. That’s actually how I came across your video haha.

Im not tryna troll but legally every car must have an amber reflector viewable from the side but i dont care i would definately go clear

What are the little bulbs that come with the markers for?
I think 20120 fixed it
they fall off easily,i had one come off during heavy rains

Mine was missing too. Maybe the dealer forgets to put them back on after services? Or maybe they just fall off easily??

weird, that yours didnt fit correctly. Odd my gti was missing that tab cover, I guess I’ll have to order one since only my drivers side only had it
