Hey guys, if you have a VW and your A/C Compressor Air Conditioner is not working then this is the video you need. We have replaced so many A/C Compressor and we have wasted so much money. However, we found that trick and for only $25 we can fix it. We have seen those go bad on VW Jetta, Vw golf, VW PASSAT, VW EOS, VW TOUAREG and more.
You do not have to replace the a/c compressor, 90% of the time is this solenoid. In some cases it might be the a/c compressor but not very often.

Yeah This sounds what is exactly wrong with my 2008 jetta
How do I know that the valve is faulty? And not the compressor it self? Thanks!
Is it work for polo 1.2 2013??
i have elentra 2015.. ac camprasor with soloniad… but some time giving hot air not cooling… and some time good work.. then not cooling we have chak tha positive solonaid 13.5 volt is available… plz tell me about it.
plz send me your whatsapp number..
I'm so glad I found this video I had a $1700 bid on replacing everything but my system would cool after a good 10 minutes or so. I have a 2007 Jetta 2.5L and I was able to remove the solenoid from under the car without removing the compressor. I have ordered the part and will install it in a few days and should be back up and running. I will report back. Thanks for the awesome help!
Electric is good. My compressor turns (clutch is okay). Checked coolant pressure and it was OVER pressurized. Safely removed all coolant and recharged. Nothing. Is this the proper diagnosis? If my compressor IS turning, is it likely a bad solenoid, or would the "switch" prevent the compressor from turning entirely? Just want to verify.
i just started going through the same problems with my ac compressor that's a sanden model 1602 for my 2010 vw beetle. I just ordered a new solenoid Ex- 019 or Ev-019 which is supposed to be the same. it looks like the one the video shows that was removed, distinguished by the plastic connector end. why does the one installed look like the Ex-016 part number? would it work the same even if the o-ring location is different?
what's the part number pls ???
My Jetta as the exact AC problem you're talking about. Does the refrigerant need to be drained before the solenoid can be removed?
will this fix 00819?
Thank you so much! Very helpful! I have a feeling this is the issue with our 2000 VW Jetta TDI AC. Thank you!
That was useful nice u need to film it in details but still not bad video .
Great video. Do we necessarily have to remove the compressor completely to replace the solenoid or is there enough room to access it without having to evacuate the system and removing the compressor?? Thanks in advance for the advice.
HI Man!
I have just added gas to my AC for the Skoda octavia 2005, it gives an air that it colder than outside but its not as cold as it should be, someone said probably your compressor is weak! how to diagnose and know whether its the part you replaced or the whole comp? and is it easy to remove the comp?
thank you so much for this video, its going to help me alot.
Can you please show me how to change ac compressor on clk 320? Thanks
Do you guys know if the part number is PXE16?
@Pockets Full Of Cherries : I think it depends on the vehicle. I have a 2006 GTI and I can see the solenoid from under the car and can easily remove it without removing the compressor. You will still have to let out all the refrigerant from the system, but I think it can be done without removing it! :). I will actually be doing that this weekend, I will post an update
gostei do vídeo
I have to wait10minuts for my AC to work in the same jetta. Thank you for your videos, im going to fix it by myself.Just one question: can i replace the solenoid without removing compressor?
