thank you. Getting that bulb out would have never happened without your
help. 2002 vw jetta. Drivers side headlight
worked great ! thanks for the simple DIY video. super easy
Short, concise, nothing extra–just the way I need it demonstrated! THANK
YOU! -Craig
Happy to hear you were able to follow the video & do the repair! Thanks for
watching & taking the time to comment!
I’ve just watched this video and went right outside and replaced the
headlight, WOW..it worked out great. Thank you for sharing this easy DIY
video.
You’ll need to see what type / style of bulb you have in there currently,
then buy the same bulb (they can be bought in a 2 pack)… keep the 2nd one
in the glove box to use in the future. Yes the other one might blow soon as
well due to being the same age, but I like to replace them only once they
are blown. Remove the cover and use a mirror to see the number on the bulb
or remove the bulb to see which you need… you get some practice that way!
🙂
I’m going to give this a go by myself tomorrow. What type of bulb do I need
to buy? and do you think its a good thing to replace both bulbs even though
one is out or am I good with just changing the one that is out? Thanks for
putting this up!
thaks for the video 😀
Although the video is for a much newer car, this one helped me
remove/replace the 9004 bulb from my wife’s 1998 VW Cabrio. Many thanx!
Glad to hear the video was of help! Thanks for watching & taking the time

Thanks, worked great. And was able to do without removing the 10mm bolt,
just the front cover of the battery cover.
Good stuff! I like as much room as possible. 🙂 Thanks for watching and
taking the time to comment!
