I would go with wolfsburgwest over them, but as long as they use west coast
metric seals, you should be ok.
do you recommend the jbugs complete car seal kit
Chris – I would like to see you install the chrome molding around the BACK
window. I’m stuck on this job and I believe it is impossible.
I really enjoy your videos, thank you for doing them. I have a 68 convert.
and am trying to replace the seals on the rear quarter and door windows. Do
you have any advice? I am having a heck of a time with them.
Just finished, now the windshield is ready to go in (1962)…time to get
help, and the wire or cord to pull in the seal…finally. I am so excited
and wish I could get someone to head to the garage with me right now to
help..well it will have to wait for some help… Thanks for this help.
You’re awesome.
This is true, soapy water is good too. I have a friend that used to work
for VW back in the day and he said they always used silicone till it was
dripping off of the seal.
No, I have to replace the rear lift channels because they are rusted and
decided to replace the seals too. Now I cant figure out how to put the
windows back in the frames.
Thank you so much for these videos! They are a tremendous help!
Sweet. I just got the rubber seal over the glass, I like the WD 40 hint..
Thanks for Posting.
It is the same procedure as the front windshield
do you have these videos on dvd? My step dad would really use these.
Chris, I have heard it is better to use soapy water because the silicone
doesn’t evaporate. What do you think?
Do you have any video showing how to install the windshield or back window
to the bug? 🙂
