Recently started having an issue with something in the engine bay.
Initially it sounded like a bearing on the auxiliary belt so I set about replacing as much as I could to try and solve the issue.
however after replacing everything I could think of the noise still remained.
After a chance conversation with a mechanic at my local MOT station he gave me the clue I needed to figure out how to solve my problem.
sure enough, the problem has now gone and I have fallen back in love with driving my transporter again.

Also had issues with the air con due to issues with the alernator pulley too – amazing how much of these things are all connected!
