Nice work. I had to retrofit old rusty service drilling rigs during my apprenticeship. Dealing with rust and welding near industrial paint is not fun.
My dad bought a brand new standard bus in 1963. Tree weeks later he rolled it off the side of a cliff. He broke his neck, the bus rolled over 3x . I was 6 ,. In 63 , but we had that monstrosity until I was around 25. I put 25k miles on it in the fields and fire roads. Still had the original continental tires on it. I've owned 2 busses and 3 campers as an adult. Once you go bus, you know the rest
