What years? My 2010 Jetta qualify? I don’t wanna buy one if I don’t need one

Santiago Montemayor says:

I’ve read through several hundred comments and I can’t seem to find the answer to my question. If you would not mind answering. Is it required to evacuate the Freon before replacing this part. Evacuating the Freon means I would have to buy a $75 recovery tank, a 100+ dollar vacuum pump, among hoses, and other tools.

IzzY Channel says:

Went to recharge my AC the other day and the needles from LOW and HIGH side started going up and down… would that be because of a bad compressor or it might be the same issue with the valve? Or the valve can be only if the pressure is static?

Spanky Sterio says:

You sound to professional

A Sid says:

Is that a 2.5?

May Flower says:

Great video.. What is the part number of the solenoid? The one mentioned in the description points to the full compressor.

My A/C only turns on when it's cool outside, (doesnt turn on when it's hot). Does anybody have the same problem? Yes it's been flushed and refilled.

Simple Centrist says:

Quick question. Is it possible for the engine light to be on if this valve is malfunctioning?

Zeus SS says:

Do you have to drain or empty the Freon to replace this valve?

Is this the same thing as the control valve?

Pamela Painter says:

I have a 2011 Jetta. My air conditioner works sometimes. Sometimes blows cold, sometimes not. Almost like the switch doesn’t know it is supposed to be on cold. I cleaned the filter under the dash, will replace it when I get the new one, but I’m fairly certain that isn’t my problem. Went ahead and tried to charge it, but it wouldn’t seem to take any refrigerant either. I live in Georgia. Can someone please help? Even if I have to take it somewhere it would be better if I know what’s the matter before, so I don’t get ripped off. I don’t have much money.

Carlos Torres says:

hola, es necesario recuperar el gas o se puede sacar la válvula si vaciar el refrigerante?
