I have a 1.9 tdi. So what is the sensor we use ? Passive or active ?
It took me a couple of hours and a lot of swearing, drilling and violence to knock out the old sensor. I didn't even try without removing the brake disc.
Excellent video. I certainly know what you mean by the manual over simplifying the task "Just remove the bolt" – and it should come right out – yeah, right. . Keep up the good work!
If you line up the hub "wheel nut"hole with the sensor its easier to put a punch through the hole and knock out the sensor as you can hit it straight. Thanks for the upload.
Use the Bolthole in Right Direktion to hit the old sensor in a more direktly Position!

Just done the same thing here pulling out that gold angle hair spaghetti! Whoever designed this ABS system should be dragged and tied in front of youtube to watch this video and feel our pain.
