In this video i will be showing you how to install USB Fast Charging Ports in my MK6 Golf using the Double Apex Kit. It was very expensive but worth it for me as i need the 12v socket for other things. Also it makes the buttons part look cooler rather than having empty buttons.

The Double Apex USB Charger integrates perfectly with your Volkswagen’s interior and is compatible with smart phones and any other device that can be powered through a USB port.

The 36W Charger module now comes with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge™ 3.0 technology for one of the two ports. This means charging speeds up to 4X faster than standard chargers, and up to 9X faster than Qi wireless charging, for QC compatible devices. For non QC devices, the charger’s Smart Charge circuity will still provide a fast charge rate, similar to a typical wall charger and up to 4X faster than Qi wireless.

The module’s advanced power control will detect the requirements of the attached device and tailor the output as needed, providing protection against overheating, overcharging and short circuits. It is compatible with any product that uses a USB cable for power.
