You just have to pull it up and out really hard haha (I suggest start
pulling from one side with your fingertips under the base of the handle).
It’s impossible to do this without having the prongs at the tip of the rod
break (you’ll see what I mean if you do this yourself). They are like a
trap where an animal may stick its hand in but can not pull it out. I
didn’t think it was worth it to buy a replacement part, so I used the
elastic band instead. I kept the trunk lever for aesthetics.
How the heck did you get the handle off in the first place? I can’t find
anywhere in the net that describes this…
Hi, just follow the steps in the video. The instructions do not change.
However, I’m not sure which hole would be easier to stick the wire hangar
in to release the lever. My guess would be the one on the left if you are
facing the seat
I recently purchased a 2000 Jetta & i can’t figure out how to put the left
rear seat down. Could you help me?
