Jonathan Stewart says:

Question. How long did you run the engine run to reach 40c? I do not want
to buy the $250 or $350 code reader. I will try to measure the temperature
of the oil as it drains with a surface temperature scanner that I got for
$50.

Benny Ng says:

Hello, where do you refill the fluid? from the photo, it looks like you
refill it from the filter? am I right? Thanks!

laraza84104 says:

is it the same for the 5 speed?

grnfsh says:

Question: At 4:15 you say to add 4.5Liters but at 6:20 you say 5.5 Liters.
Which is correct?

Jason Smith says:

You guys make it so complicated and make me happy to pay someone else to do
the job

67stang says:

where i can buy the transmission fluid for 03 jetta, automatic
transmission, and what type of transmission fluid use

Dan Jennings says:

Is that a 300ZX that you are starting at the beginning of the video?

sdshawn k says:

Couldn’t you measure how much fluid comes out after you warm up and drain,
then fill the same amount back in before installing the new filter on the
top of the Trans .. It looked like the fluid level was past the snorkel
when you drained it, so I am a little confused on how much should go back
in. The contraption you used to fill it back up kind of made me think twice
about doing it. With that said up until your video I know idea how to
change the fluid or if it even could be, so I thank you for that.

catfishakaAMC says:

Yeah….I think I’ll pay a shop $150 instead of playing with my very
expensive DSG transmission. Not that I didn’t think the video was good, I
just don’t trust myself and that seems like $150 worth of work to me.

B Nagy says:

God…so much plastic in an engine bay…:(

BMAC VAGS says:

I like watching your videos

SURTO FAK says:

in the beginning of the video Isnt that icon for glow plugs? .

Chris Deulen says:

This looks absolutely nothing like my 2005 Jetta TDI (former 2005, not
latter). Thanks anyway.

bbbmw says:

there is a different model of dsg, in europe, for different engines with
dry clutches. its a 7 speed i believe. i dont remember if its for higher or
lower power engines.

mikemonster says:

Is it the same with Mark VI Golf? Its $480 plus tax from a dealer. I called
Midas but they said VW dealer has a special tool for MK VI?

Kim Tyrone Agapito says:

I want this video on my t800 phone.

UZ4PLAY says:

why cant you just fill the fluid where you change the filter?

Scott Burel says:

3:20 for the win!!!

myturbodieseldotcom says:

Read the linked article in the description for the long answer. Yes.

mikepartyboy says:

“You do not overfill the transmission and drain off any excess with this
method.” so what is the point of the snorkel for the Measure/refill method

OnlineBackupServices says:

wow, they’ve really complicated this. why not just do it the normal way,
fill hole level at max on the side?

hddm3 says:
