As mentioned on the website, the disc changer uses the connection required by the kit, so you can’t install it.

oh no i was talking bout the stock ipod that came from that car, the ipod dock. Your ideas are great, mind you, i wish i could purchase one of this on my wife’s jetta. Have you not notice the stock ipod that was being wobbly from so many use?

When i first used the orig ipod dock on this car ( bought by wife ) i kinda liked the technical side of it, BUT after a few months the dock itself was wobbly and music from my ipod classic turned on and off ( pretty annoying ) ’cause connection was already loose. I brought it to VW but they cannot fix it. Found out this tech is useless for a metal music lover who drives an hour to work. What was in their great mind not to put a basic AUX on the stereo itself like every car does, SMH.
