This is all very worthwhile. The OEM stuff is so much better than any replacement part so any time you can refurbish original parts it is a win.

What kind of an exhaust is that ? Yeah, you can tell the cheap ones by how much they weigh. The real ones are incredibly heavy. I kind of wish Leon would spring for a REAL muffler. Good job salvaging those heat exchangers, sandblast them and have them powder coated and they'll be as good as new. It just takes time.
