This was my fix for a couple coolant leak spots on our 2003 VW Jetta 1.8t.

Every 2 years this stupid flange breaks on me. I thought it was the same thing this time but turns out I have a cracked hose somewhere. My car currently sprays coolant everywhere and it only started when it got hot outside. So not impressed. Great vid though!

If there is no leak, usually it means you have a blown headgasket.

hey great video i have the same jetta, just replaced water pump, therm and all the cooling switches, now i have white smoke from the tail pipe. No oil in spark plugs, no water in oil, compression is good. any suggestions. I hope u still have ur jetta
