toyota leaves too much room, to easy to get cutoff, my Mercedes is much closer and less safe about it, better imo
I hate using the system in my new Camry, it always flores my acceleration when I move into the next lane because the joe in the front of me is going 5 under the speed limit. Then I’m burning up gas because it goes from 60 to 70, usually by my luck on a hill. I’m really conservative especially on the highways, so I wouldn’t give this option too much of a worry. Until they issue the option like Hyundai has where you push a button and the car steers it self, im good lol

Yeah my 2014 Kia has this feature. It's great for city streets for stop n go. For highways people like to get in front of you and slow you down constantly. I'm constantly cancelling my ACC so that I can just coast instead of braking like this system likes to do.
It’s terrible absolutely terrible in 2019 tacoma off road.

When I use it and it starts to slow down I get into the other lane when I can it takes off like a rocket and I hate that
My own brains serve me well as my computer. All those gadgets take the fun out of driving. The other day my granddaughter gave me a ride in her car with similar systems. I noticed that the constant breaking only enticed her to pass the cars in front more often than she would otherwise.
I already know what Scotty will say when it's a new technology option, which will soon become standard, in the coming generation.
Always been a Toyota truck fan but the new Tundra and Tacoma are butt ugly. Probably good vehicles though.
scotty, my 2020 cx5 has it too. but sometimes during a cold fogy weather my car's radar system get disabled due for bad visibility . I wonder if that's bad and should I take it back to the dealer?

My 2012 jeep grand Cherokee has that. 10 year old technology
Sounds expensive….and rife for failure.
My 2018 rav has it. It doesn't pick up quick enough, when I pull over to pass.
54 years old, and never needed or used my cruise controls on any vehicle I've owned! Not a game changer for me on any vehicle I've ever owned..
My CX-5 has the adaptive CC, it’s awesome.
Adaptive cruise control. Sounds like a good idea, in fact it should not allowed to be to turned of. Why? Because here in the UK, most of the donuts on the road obviously need some help in keeping back from the car in front!

The Adaptive Cruise Control is what I have been using with my Subaru. It's fantastic. Love it.
When the cruise control slows you down do the brake lights activate to warn the driver behind you??

Dam Scotty your matrix 1 year newer than mine has cruise control…Dam, mine doesn’t have cruise control or anything power features related. Your lucky
