Hello and Welcome to The Car Care Nut Remix Channel! In this video a Toyota Mechanic works on a Nissan Pathfinder.
In the premier video of my brand new channel we’ll be inspecting this 2019 Nissan Pathfinder. Look at some problems and potential problems.
We’ll take a quick peek inside of it to see how they look then a look underneath it.
Towards the end we’ll resolve the reason why the car came in which is the brakes that are grinding.

Mate, you are always so calm – a true virtue! Yes I enjoyed this video as it gave important insight into other brands. Love to see you do the same for a Nissan Rogue and/or Rogue Sport.
I am just started watching this and can not wait for you to find problems of all kinds, I had a Nissan Maxima and over the years most everything broke down from brakes to windows to fuel injectors injectors to the blower fan and transmission and with everything broken it would not be a simple repair, on brakes the rotors needed to be replaced as well as the pads every 40k miles or so, I have a Highlander with 62k miles now it is 12 years old and it has been trouble free still on the original brakes as well.
Nice new channel from you i like it.
Will u work on my tesla model 3 if i bring it to u? Brake lubrication, tire rotation and some quality check issues that might interest u =)
I have a '16 Maxima since new, now 115K miles, no CVT issues (I change the fluid at the dealer every 60K miles).
Good thing I'm looking to get a Toyota Corolla instead of a Nissan, 2020-current model.
I feel like there was that one engineer that said we have to have this power steering thing and pushed for it cause too me it’s way over engineered for no reason
Consumer Reports shows that the '13 to '16 CVT in the Pathfinder had major and minor problems. It was redesigned for 17 and up. Consumer Reports shows all green for the CVT thereafter. But, you do have to service it every 30k miles. My '17 Pathfinder has been perfect but needed new rear brakes at 40k miles. Also, the oil dipstick is no fun at all.
Nissan's are rental cars. If you make it past 125k w/o a major repair, you should play the lottery. Lady luck is on your side.
HUGE fan of Nissan VQ-series engines. Owned a 6 cylinder 2007 Nissan Altima (with CVT). Bought new. Sold it with 155,000 miles. Outside of the typical oil, tires, brakes, the car operated flawlessly. No problems with the CVT. Great acceleration. Comfortable seats. Best HVAC system I've ever had in a car.
Currently own a 2012 Pathfinder, bought with 140,000 miles. So far, so good. Pathfinder gets about 15 mpg in the city and 20 mpg on the highway, but that is to be expected from a 2012 body on frame SUV.
All that being typed, I am meticulous about maintenance and I don't race from traffic light to traffic light.
New subscriber here. Love your other channel tho.
I just found my next favorite channel. Great video
This is an amazing idea, exciting!
