it does not work with my toyota corolla Ascent 2002 hatchback. i did exactly every thing but the vehicle doesnt go to programing mode. what seems to be the problem??

carandtruckremotes says:

No, unfortunately, this method will not work for the ’99 Corolla. It requires a different type of programming.

carandtruckremotes says:

There could still be something wrong with the keyless system. You may have to check it out with a mechanic or the dealer.

carandtruckremotes says:

Yes, this programming method will work for the ’05 Camry.

carandtruckremotes says:

There is a separate “chip” in the key that must be professionally programmed in order for the key to start the car’s ignition.

carandtruckremotes says:

This means that the programming “failed”. It could mean the remote is bad, or it could mean there is a ‘glitch’ in the keyless system. You can always try ‘rebooting’ the car by disconnecting one of the car’s battery terminals for about 15 mins, reconnect, and trying programming again.
If the programming ‘fails’ again, you probably need a new remote.

carandtruckremotes says:

The 2009 Corolla remote can be programmed this this method; however, the key requires separate programming and cutting by a dealer or an automotive locksmith.

Lance Cruz says:

Hi, i recently lost my fob key to my 2009 Toyota Corolla, bought a new replacement key for 300$ without the buttons, and was wondering if i bought a new FOB key on ebay if i could program it to turn my car on

stephen reid says:

Hi,
I have an 07 corolla, which came which a remote, but the owner said it needed a new battery. I bought the car, got a new battery and it didn’t work. I followed all the procedures in the video, but at the end it locked and unlocked twice. I have seen on other websites that this means it did not program. Any help on how to program it, or do I need a new remote?
Thanks

Bonnie Laramore says:

What if disconnecting the battery terminal does not fix the “glitch” in the electrical system? What other malfunction could there be if you have already checked/changed the remote battery and have bought a new remote? What then?

mytube3466 says:

Thanks, great tutorial. Worked like a charm!

Juana Estrada says:

Will this work on a Toyota corolla 99″?

carandtruckremotes says:

Yes, sometimes the keyless system will have a ‘glitch’ in the electrical and will not go into programming mode. You can always try ‘rebooting’ the car by disconnecting one of the car’s battery terminals for about 15 mins, reconnect, and trying programming again.

Matanumi says:

I had a to help a guy with an 07 tundra and his truck would NOT enter programing mode… very annoying

carandtruckremotes says:

We are always posting new videos. Check back often.

carandtruckremotes says:

I have never heard that request before. Chances are that if it does not work with the car running there is no way to override it. Check with your local dealer.

carandtruckremotes says:

No, unfortunately this will not work for the 2010 Camry. That key/remote must be programmed by a dealer or a car locksmith.

carandtruckremotes says:

No, unfortunately this will not work for the 2007 Camry. That key/remote must be programmed by a dealer or a car locksmith.

Prakash Amidela says:

Hi, Will this procedure work for 2007 camry? Thanks

Holliday Free says:

Can you do one?

carandtruckremotes says:

If you are getting the appropriate responses from the car but not from the remote, there may be a problem with your remote. You can usually have it tested at a local auto parts store.

Just got Keyless Remote and with this video programmed the remote with in 5 min….
Really helpful and saved $170

Guy Montag says:

i did this without the original remote on a 05 corolla and it did not work. I also tried re write mode with no results. Is there different steps to this? Gave my number to the dealer nd they say that Toyotas don’t specify if they come with factory key less or not. Said that most likely my car came with it as it has security “immobilizer”. Asked my why. Told them I had bought the remote and could not program. Said they don’t really work and have to be programmed at dealer. $110 to program.
