the Tundra was an Ok truck, but nothing special… Very hard to crack the dominance of Ford and Chevy
They should of kept the 5.7 and just added the turbos.

Long Live the 5.6 L V8 Nissan Armada!
Honestly, I want a car maker to make a modern day carbureted car with oldschool ignition. With all the advancements I bet they could come close to a FI car – i.e. a no computer car.
Then it’s not the motor it’s the quality control. Turbo motors have been going for 50 years. Fords been doing it for a decade. Porsche has been building them for 50 years. Turbo diesels are all over the place for decades. This isn’t magic. The only thing you have to do is take care of it better than a normally aspirated motor. The trick is to do oil changes religiously every 5,000 miles. Sheesh it’s not freaking rocket science and I am a rocket scientist ( naval missile engineer)

Before I got my 2008 Tundra, I looked at a 2007 with 830,000 miles for sale. The interior was pretty worn, so I passed, but it still ran and drove!
Seen enough turbo issue's in my time.
Not built to last!
Just replaced the V6 turbo with the 5.7L V8 and transmission. Evrything else can be like it is
I’ve been driving my 08 tundra I bought new… now has 250000 miles on it with only having to change the starter in it it’s been a work and hunting truck it’s whole life so ya, it hasn’t had the easiest life but been the best truck I’ve owned. Toyota completely butchered the new tundra inside and out. I will not even consider buying one this next summer when I buy my new truck. Probably get the 2024 Chevy 2500 duramax for my next truck. Am pretty disappointed what Toyota did to this new truck. It’s garbage. If you ask any longer term owner of the second gen they will say the same.
We balance the budget by driving less and doing efficient necessary activities with lots of cannabis
toyota needs to wake up and get quality under their dam belts. as for 3d car, it wont surprise me. doesnt mean its safe, but they did make a 3d house, its in nyc for 300k
