I had a 1979 Toyota 2WD 4-cylinder Hi-Lux pickup that I bought used when it was 2 years old that lasted 20 YEARS with very few repairs. I now have a 2003 Tacoma 4WD Vertec V6 extra-cab that just turned 20 years old. My entire family bought Toyotas after seeing my experience with them and my husband, a die-hard Dodge RAM fan, loves our Tacoma and sold his Dodge RAM when we retired and became a 1-car household. I would trust Toyota over ANY other kind of car. Besides, those electric cars are just one more way our corrupt government can shut us down whenever it wants by turning off the grid. If the government is willing to spend 12 Billion to propagandize Americans into buying electric cars when it won't spend 5 Billion to secure our border, that tells me there's a hidden agenda most sheeple won't even think is behind it! NO THANKS to that!
I hate turbo engines. The only thing really I hate about my Chevrolet Trax I have and all these other new Chevys are going turbo. Please don't go turbo Toyota corolla.

wish our government would stay out of our lives, they are the culprit in this, demanding cars reach certain gas mileage numbers. BUTT OUT WASHINGTON

This is getting to be a common theme for all manufacturers a lot of them had good motors years ago that were reliable even Volkswagen had the basic 4 and 5 cylinder motors that were pretty simple and dependable.
