My name is Brandon and I am a used car dealer. I created Car Questions Answered to share the ins and outs of the used car market from my perspective. I share with you updates on car prices, what’s happening at the dealer auctions, and what it’s like being a dealer. My goal is to share information to help you make the best decisions while buying a car to save you money. I do not want car dealers taking advantage of you.

Those are really old cars… I'm sure something needs to be fixed on a $3,500 car.

@bool7994 says:

That is a false claim you made saying its only affecting 2022 and 2023 Tundra's. It was initially thought that only those first couple years were affected due to 'debris in engine from machining' but it has been documented multiple times now that even 2024 Tundra's continue to have the lost oil pressure/ spun bearing issue, alot of the times with less than 10k miles on the truck. The perception of the car market from someone that works on cars for a living is that things ARE NOT made to the quality and standard of trucks from yesteryears, piles of emissions and technological mandates (backup cameras, lane keep assists, etc.) helped to drive the price of 'normal affordable' cars up as the quality of a product you get lasts you less time in the long run and gives you more headaches. If Tundra's from the early 2000's had the problems these trucks are having Toyota wouldn't nearly have the reputation they do for reliability. Therefore I think rather than a fluke mistake in machining the block, its instead a change in culture and mindset towards producing vehicles that in the end hurts the consumer.

@southernlife251 says:

Not true about Tundra. People are buying them even though they have crap engines and cost as much as they do.

Who have TOYOTA RAV4 or CAMERA 2020/ 2021 IWANT BUY

@wests8872 says:

I wanty RAV4 2020

@djinfreemind1966 says:

The powers that be don't want private ownership of transportation.

@red.riot.2280 says:

24s are having problems too. And the taco is having transmission problems…

@Soundhertzfrequency says:

Who wants to buy something that depreciates so fast

@chet9128 says:

The US government needs to get out of the car business. They need to stick to what they know keeping the border wide open and raising taxes

@Soundhertzfrequency says:

Back up cameras are spy cameras

@stevenflores5549 says:

They have not been fixed. 2024 are about to be included in recall. And stellantis is absolute garbage.

@BRIGGS2710 says:

sell them as parts : P

@mikesmith-wk7vy says:

Toyota fixed that problem , but there were others as well

@Brett-773 says:

I want a Honda Accord sport or a Ford Taurus sho. Which one is better.

@MaterLacrymarum says:

What a lot of noise. If prices are too high, people don't buy (simply economics 101). Brand is based on quality, if that gets bruised, then it has an effect. I mean seriously, this is simple simple stuff.

@jasoncooper939 says:

Vehicles need to be 10k-40k again

@69pepe420 says:

Go woke, go broke!!!! DEI isnt good for quality.

@foenix8094 says:

The reality is… If ANY year of vehicle from ANY given brand had engines destroying themselves because they left a few nuts and bolts in the engine… the REALITY is I will NEVER buy ANY vehicle from that brand for the rest of my life. I would even shame ANYONE i was close to who owned one from that brand.

I mean they even tried to pretend that nothing was wrong when it started happening… if you like being sold faulty vehicles and also like being lied to when there's a manufacturing issue. have at it.

@CharlieRickman says:

I believed you until you said the salesman told me.

@Eli9A says:

America became the best country because we had the best stuff, including lifestyle, now people are bringing in unbated people and destroying the flow of pogress. Commonsense seems to have been banished.

@patndave4919 says:

Haw Haw! 4:04 … are not going to eat this cost. They are going to pass the SAVINGS?
I read that the wanky V6 motors were "insult to injury." This atop Toyota discontinuing the bulletproof reliable 5.7-liter V8 engine in 2021. Atop discontinuing the bulletproof reliable Tundra after 2021.

@keithburch8997 says:

All bullshit. $150 for front brakes and rotors labor. Parts separate.

@keithburch8997 says:

WEF does not want regular people driving any longer. Joe Biden signed on for the U N and to take power over the country and its citizens.

@Udluz says:

$50k + for a two wheel drive Tacoma? That’s terrible

@DavidisNice says:

You sounded like Kama Harris explaining perception, consumers and reality.

@desertzillions4171 says:

Yah I was going to get a 2024 Toyota and was already but then realized the issues on the first two years and changed my mind. I was not going to take a chance on a new Tundra for the price. It is just to much risk and I really to not believe they have fixed the issues.
